We offer Blended Learning Hybrid and In-Person class options available for you to complete your class. Our Blended Learning Hybrid option allows you to take the Heartcode and Heartsaver classes online at your own pace. Our In-Person class is done at one of our locations or at your location. All Skills Session classes are completed In-Person. Group training is also available at a discounted rate. A 2 year American Heart Association Certification eCard will be given upon successful completion of each class. All Sunday classes are completed at our Westerly Apartments Business Lounge Location.

Basic Life Support

The AHA BLS course is designed for healthcare professionals who practice in hospital facilities and prehospital environments. This course teaches the basic life support skills used by nurses, physicians, EMT, paramedics, and dentist professionals. We will cover adult, child, infant, and 2 rescuer CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use, choking for conscious and unconscious victims, and breathing barriers.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

This AHA ACLS class is designed for healthcare professionals who direct or manage cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies; personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units; physicians, nurses, and paramedics; and others who need an ACLS course completion card for job or other requirements.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support

The PALS Class is for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics and others who need a PALS Course Completion Card for job or other requirements.

The AHA’s Heartsaver classes are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs first aid and/or CPR training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. Heartsaver classes can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared to act in an emergency.

Instructor Courses

The AHA requires that instructors be at least 18 years of age to teach Heartsaver and BLS courses. ACLS and PALS Instructors must be at least 18 years of age and licensed or certified in a healthcare occupation where the skills are within the provider’s scope of practice.
